Hello friends of Full Life!
We are so excited to offer fun group activities and skills-building classes at the new Full Life Community Inclusion Program based in Beaverton, Oregon. The program is designed to help adults with developmental disabilities develop skills in order to secure employment in the future. We work on social and community safety awareness, as well as independence, productivity, inclusion, and employment-related skills.

We love the Beaverton Library! Thank you for welcoming us to work on peaceful skills-building craft projects in the community.
What activites have we been enjoying?
Our groups have been having fun exploring everything that the thriving Beaverton area has to offer. So far, our folks have particularly enjoyed their weekly classes at Aim High Martial Arts. They have been learning all about self-defense and developing health and fitness, team work, and movement skills. Everyone has enjoyed exploring the neighborhood and visiting local businesses and stores. A particular favorite was the day we took a cooking class at New Seasons. We learned all the steps to prepare a delicious vegetarian meal, all the way from creating the shopping list to exploring the store to kitchen prep, cooking, and serving. We cannot wait to put these skills into practice at home and share a delicious homemade meal with our friends and families! Another one of our favorite places to visit is KingPins, where we love to bowl, play arcade games, and snack on tater tots!
What do our clients think?
We asked a few of the Full Life Westside Community Inclusion Program clients for describe their experience so far:
“I love coming here because we get to walk around and see things.”
“I am really proud of myself because I know I have improved my martial arts skills!”
“This program feels like family because we all take care of each other.”

We always find time to goof around, share jokes, and have fun everyday! After all, what is life without a little fun with friends?
Thanks so much for reading about the new program! Unfortunately, like all DSA programming, the Westside Community Inclusion program is temporarily suspended due to the Coronavirus. We are excited to resume services as soon as possible. Please keep an eye out for more info in the coming weeks. In the meantime, if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact our Director of Day Services, Rob Gray, at robgray@fulllife.com.
STAY SAFE AND BE EXCELLENT TO EACH OTHER!
